Game of Thrones is back at it, and we have news! Season 8 has been under production for a while now, and we haven’t had a big update in a long time, but now we do. Game of Thrones Season 8 filming is back on, we have pictures from the aftermath of a big battle scene, and a brand new set! SPOILER ALERT! Consider yourself warned!
Starting off, exciting news! We know that HBO is going all out with Season 8. We have been getting you the news from multiple sets, and we now have one more! A giant set has appeared right next to Magheramorne Quarry, which has stood in as Castle Black before. We have the pictures of the set, which is the biggest we have seen yet, thanks to GoTlike Locations. Note the Castle Black set next to it, and the biggest green screen the production has ever used:
Moving on, we have reported about the Winterfell set at Moneyglass, Northern Ireland, quite a lot, lately, and we have new activity at the set. While the set was burned up in what seemed like a battle sequence showing an attack on Winterfell, we had assumed the set was done for good, but filming is still on, with a new sight: corpses on the fields of Winterfell. Check out the pictures of the set, below, thanks to GoTlike Locations:
Like Watchers on the Wall notes, the scene does look like the ones after Stannis‘ attempt against the Boltons in Winterfell in Season 5, and the Battle of the Bastards in Season 6. So it’s safe to say, whatever happens at Winterfell, surely leaves a hell lot of dead bodies behind! Also, not to forget, Winterfell has been at this for months now, and the filming is still on, so it is poised to be pretty important to the Game of Thrones Season 8 story arc. Stay tuned for more.
So what do you think will happen at the new set? What is the giant green screen for? Hit us up with your speculations in the comments, down below!
