Desi Journalist Snatches The Indian Flag From Pakistani Protestors To Stop Them From Destroying It –

As children, we are always taught to be respectful towards our nation and elders. Also kind towards younger one .Indian flag is our pride and we all have emotional bond with it.but some people justify it ,likewise Poonam Joshi ,Indian journalist who couldn’t control her temperament and showed courage.Social media is admiring the journalist.

She was covering the celebrations of India’s Independence Day by the Indian crowd outside Indian High Commission in London. The Pro-Pak and Pro-Khalistan protests were also underway around that same time. People were protesting against PM Modi government’s decision to scrap Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu & Kashmir.

“people were throwing eggs and stones on Indians who were a part of the celebrations. Some protestors got their hands on the Indian National flag and started vandalising it. There’s a video that shows the protestors tearing the flag and destroying it. Joshi ran towards the protestors, snatched the torn flag and brought it back.” According to a report in ANI,

Poonam told ANI

, “I have covered many, many protests in the past but have never seen anything uglier or intimidating.”

She further stated, “Even though I was there as a journalist, I couldn’t withstand what was taking place and really hurt my pride. As I was standing outside the police cordon, I instinctively ran over to the Pakistani side, grabbed the first part of the flag off the floor and the second part from the other man’s hands. This earned a reprimand from the police who ordered me behind the barriers, which I refused to do.”

Twitteraties showed their feelings like this:

We salute to this journalist.
