Iain Glen drops a cryptic clue about Jorah Mormont’s fate in Game of Thrones Season 8

Game of Thrones season 8 will see Ser Jorah back by Daenerys’ side as she heads to Winterfell with Jon Snow (Kit Harrington). Jorah, who has pined for the Mother of Dragons since the first season, will no doubt be excited to be back with her.

Speaking about their scenes together, Iain said: “I think he’s very, very relieved and content to be back inside Daenerys’ good favour. He’s well placed to try and to look after her. Through all the seasons, he’s ebbed and flowed with her, and now he’s well set, so that’s where he is.”

However, it seems the pair’s reunion may not last too long. Iain went on to hint the final run will see all of the character’s reach their conclusion, which he said left him feeling “very sad”.

He explained to Indie Wire: “It’s a funny old melange of different sensations. I felt very sad of course, but you don’t want to outstay your welcome. I think it’s the right time for us to reach our conclusions.”

Could that be a slight indication that Ser Jorah won’t make it to the end of season eight?

Iain also added he has “gotten very fond” of those he works alongside. He told the publication: “It transformed our lives. It was extraordinary. I know I’ll miss it, but I also want to finish when it felt right.”

It comes after the latest theory suggesting that Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) isn’t actually dead.

The theory suggests he faked his own death by meeting with a Faceless Man and paying with the special coin of the Faceless Men. In addition, Littlefinger earlier disclosed he had a grandfather from Braavos. Braavos is where Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) went to train with the Faceless Men.

Could Littlefinger be making a return in season eight much to the surprise of the Stark sisters?

Game of Thrones season 8 will return on April 14.
