There’s hardly anyone out there who hasn’t fallen for Randeep Hooda’s charm and raw sex appeal! He is super-talented and his ‘unconventional’ choice of films makes us fall in love with him even more. Born in Rohtak, Haryana, Randeep forayed into the Hindi film industry with Mira Nair’s Monsoon Wedding. A couple of forgetable outings later, it was Milan Lutharia’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, where he played a cop, with which he struck gold. Since then, he has always managed to impress us with his acting prowess.
As the handsome actor turned a year older in August 20, we can say that he’s getting hotter with each passing day by seeing his pictures.
Have a look at some of his pictures:
Randeep Hooda moved to Australia for higher studies but ended up failing in the first year itself. Finally, he did his graduation in Marketing and masters in Business Management and Human Resource Management from Melbourne. The actor did several odd jobs from working in a Chinese restaurant, car-washing, dish-washing, becoming a beach life-guard, being a waiter and taxi driver for survival. But soon, he returned to his first love – acting!
Hooda made his acting debut in Mira Nair’s film Monsoon Wedding (2001). Although the film was a critical and commercial success, Hooda couldn’t gather any fame or recognition. In 2005, Hooda was cast as the male lead in Ram Gopal Varma’s gangster film D. His performance in the film received positive reviews.
In 2010 he acted in Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, as a cop, alongside Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi, which was his first successful movie. Later he g ave successful films like Highway, Kick, Sarbjit and Sultan. His last release was in 2018 which was Tiger Shroff-starrer Baaghi.
Soon he will be seen in American movie Dhaka, directed by Sam Hargrave starring Chris Hemsworth, and Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpayee and Pankaj Tripathi.
During his school days, he was quite mischievous child and was often apparently addressed as Randeep Don Hooda at his school farewell.
He is extremely passionate about acting and can go to any extent to perfect the role he does. Randeep underwent a massive weight loss of 18 kgs in just one month to portray the role of Sarabjit!
He has won two Stardust Awards – in 2014 as Best Actor for Highway and in 2015 as Best Actor in a Negative Role for Main Aur Charles.
